My thumbs seem to be any color except green, a contributing factor to the apparent slow and painful death of my new foliage. They are, however, rather adept at writing compilers; as I was able to finally compile useful code today with my pascal compiler (fibonacci and factorial). Will it ever be completed? The world will never know.
Today was the "breaded flounder" dinner that Jou mistakenly made into a "fish stick" dinner. Lemon pepper and olive oil do wonder for fish sticks, and I must say that Jerumu surprised me a bit. Other than far too much time spent inside (as I'm starting to wither just like my plant companion), I'm starting to lose a bit of the complacency I had a few days ago.
Hearing about other peoples success in a way really annoys me, because I know I'll never be successful. I guess I know how wei feels now. But hell, it seems that even miLorde can get a job. I am thinking about putting forth a new theory: Nobody gets a good job on the basis of skills, but rather, through their friendships with someone else. I suppose that the theory isn't new, but it does seem incredibly annoying that skills aren't actually required for success.
In a way, it makes me want to break off my friendships with people. I never want to feel like I owe someone for a job; a job in a way judges your worth. Do you want your worth to be dependent on someone else? Maybe I'm too self-reliant.
Rather by chance I happened upon much One Piece material, and will be enjoying myself over the next few days with some Baroque Works arch-age. The plans for this summer have been radically changing from making a python interpreter to coding a C compiler in python to watching One Piece. I'm also unsure as to whether or not I am going to buy:
- A laptop.
- An electric guitar.
- An LCD screen.
One of said purchases WILL be made. I also need some way to buy a girlfriend, they do that in asia, right? I think I'll go there. Maybe I should check Ebay.
Speaking of Ebay, plans to Frankenstein me a new laptop screen (and friends) have hit an unexpected halt. In essence, I'm not sure if its worth time, effort, and raised hopes to fix such a colossal piece of crap. Of course, I'm also completely unsatisfied with any laptop currently out there on the market. They are either too thick, the keyboards are too small, the screen too dim, or the resolution too low. Why can't someone just make a good laptop?
I wish I could buy broken women on eBay and refashion them from parts. I'm sure they probably have the same sentiments for our half of the race, but in all honest; if a guy doesn't like a girl, there is something seriously wrong with her. Guys will want to have sex with just about anything. Therefore, it is only the most vile of human females that we will want to stay away from. So ladies, if you can't find a man but are trying, you are probably one of the following:
- Annoying as hell.
- Ugly.
- Fugly.
- Fucking Fugly.
- Prude.
And contrary to popular female myth and legend, number 1 is the greatest deterrent. Afterall, there are some pretty ugly brides out there. Well I hope you've enjoyed our time together today... do do do do do do, God!
