comments: 0I saw Chris Hedges on the Colbert Report a few weeks ago, and frantically scoured the internet for material he had written. He seems to have a pretty good handle on the Robertson/Falwell Fascist movement, and it's something that I wanted to learn more about. He's also a plain spoken, intelligent graduate of harvard divinity school, which is something I did not know even existed.

Corinthians XIII.11 probably has it pegged down best, but I've been known to put things in my own words. As a kid my favorite color was green, and my favorite color combination was a nauseating green + neon yellow. I distinctly remember making my own neon yellow ninja turtle, and that I was facing west while doing it, so I'm going to blame that slip up on California. As an adult(?) I've come to embrace my love of autumn, no longer caught in a moral quandary of seasonal love pitted against a hatred of primary school. Instead of green and blue, I'm quite taken with other earthy tones like orange and especially brown.
Unfortunately for my family my updates recently are not about me, but about things I'm doing. I've been pretty prolific as far as coding is concerned thusfar this year, both writing programs at work and on my own. Because I spend so much time at my girlfriend's place, and she has a windows machine, I've had to impose a few hopefully non-annoying programs on here, but I finally found the last missing piece: PieTTY. Now that unicode things work in my console, I'm able to develop on her computer and actually verify what I'm doing.
