The MSI concert totally kicked ass. There were girls there, like some kind of alien world where girls actually exist. It was off the hook. Too bad they were all really young, like 15 or younger. I remember what it was like to be 15 and think I was old; in a few years I'll probably remember what it was like to be 20 and think I'm old. I think I might be out of that phase though, although I can assure you I felt old at the concert.
Matt pinfield was there; for those less educated, Pinfield is like a music guru who knows everything and used to VJ for MTV in the twilight hours of who the hell cares. I think he got fired for being too cool. He DJ'd some kRock stuff for a while, but besides going to MSI concerts I don't know what he's up to now.
The opening act was this band named bingo. They had an upright bass, a violnin chick who had the biggest blonde dreads I've ever seen, a drummer and a pipe organ. Their sound was totally rad. I bought their CD and helped the drummer carry his shit to the tour bus. All with a jacked up leg, which leads me to...
My surgery appt. got delayed again, now to the 25th. I need almost full range of movement in my knee before they will even perform the surgery, so I guess we'll see how its going at the 25th. I can still feel a ton of fluid (blood) in my knee, so I don't know if I'll be able to bend it how they want me to when the time comes.
Haven't updated in a while because I was sharing someone's resolve to not do it until two other entities did. But he cracked like a 6 year old girl under a severe parental beating. Oh well, we can't all be cool. I can't stop listening to a few songs on the Mindless live recording CD, "Alienating our Audience"; most specifically "Thank God", "Revenge", and "Last gay song".
